Storing and moving a hard board takes a roof rack, the right car and a spare wall at home. This one rolls down into a backpack that has padded shoulder and waist straps, and the hand pump brings it back up at the water's edge.
Non-swimmers or unsupervised children, and it is not a flotation device. No life jacket is in the box, and the maker notes the US Coast Guard classes a paddle board as a vessel that must carry one plus a signalling device.
Add up what will actually be on the board, rider, dog, cooler and dry bag, against the 350 lb capacity, and buy the life jacket and the signalling device separately, because neither is included.
