This solves the return-trip problem: it lives flat in your suitcase going out and comes back as 80 liters of souvenir capacity. As a gym or hospital bag it earns its drawer space between trips.
Checked-bag abuse on every trip - 1.3 lbs of nylon is durable for its weight, but it is not a hard shell and does not pretend to be.
An 80L bag filled carelessly gets heavy fast and has no wheels. Pack it for the carry, not the capacity.
