Anyone who needs the whole arm to move, since only the top section is described as adjustable with the lower half fixed. It also arrives without a bulb, so nothing lights up on the first evening unless you have one already.
Measure the edge you plan to clamp it to. The manufacturer specifies surfaces up to 2 inches, which rules out a thick butcher-block top, a desk with a deep apron, or a shelf with a raised front.
